Welcome! I’m Diana Ishikawa, the spirit behind Stone River Acupuncture. Chinese herbal medicine and acupuncture have been lifelong passions of mine. Growing up in a family of martial artists started me on this path. Many of the concepts found in Chinese medicine can also be found in Chinese martial arts styles. Pressure points, energetic channels, and qi were all common household talk in my family. But it was my natural love for plant medicine that put me into motion. As a kid I would run around collecting plants and stones and tell tales about what each one did. As I got older, tales turned to research. To my surprise, I was intuitively correct most of the time. Between martial arts exposure and interest in plants, a love for Chinese medicine came naturally.
